They own diaries which they resist from making into sketchbooks....

They/we don't have time! but we do it anyway, as much as possible... until we fall asleep or under a truck!
no sleep.
They sit through work all day dreaming about the art they're gonna do. Then they go home stuffed; cook, eat sit down for maybe an hour then realize its pretty much time for bed.
It sucks - but less than being completely broke and having all your creativity sucked by worrying about keeping the power on etc.
