Plaything Gallery is joining forces with some of the Auckland’s best and brightest new stars in contemporary art, including Misery aka Tanja Thompson, Imogen Taylor and Henrietta Harris, to bring you NOW - their first annual 24 hour art challenge.

Can a truly strong work of art be made in 24 hours? In an age in which instant gratification is the norm, can we expect a work of art to be made in as little time as a day?

With over 15 artists, this challenge is to investigate the role of time in the creation of art.

I didn't make the show at Cassette but judging from the photos it looked like a success, and cheeseontoast.co.nz says they raised $5000 for charity- well done!
