Bird Brain

The last few weeks have partially been spent doing drawings to go inside all the Robert Harris cafes around New Zealand. I haven't got examples of all the various drawings and poems yet, I'm not sure if they've all been changed or not, but here is one example in one of the Christchurch cafes.


Emily-Rose painting for her mum's birthday, did this ages ago but couldn't put it online until it had been given.




These two paintings will be in my show which is in a week, and coming along nicely. Just got a few more things to sort out and a few more hours of procrastination to achieve, which should be a breeze. Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep.
OH also I did the album artwork for Auckland band White Swan Black Swan, it looks really good, I'll post pics when I can.

Solo Show

So I have a solo show opening on April 22nd at 5.30-7pm. It runs until May the 4th (Nick's birthday) and is at Satellite Gallery. Corner St Benedicts St and Newton Rd, Newton. Everyone is invited, everyone. I couldn't decide on which image to use on the flyer so I made two.
I think you'll find the work in it will be the best I've ever done, the best thing is that I am still not even close to being finished all of it so it'll even be a surprise to me.

Hamilton Show

These paintings were for the 'Multiples' show in Hamilton a few weeks back, I thought I'd do something a bit different than a print which was my original idea, so I painted four similar looking works using the same colours but each one was a wee bit different.

My dear friend Adam bought all these paintings so they are gone now.
Saw the Dirtbombs last night, they were great, as always. I have suddenly become flooded with proper big persons work which is good, another update will happen soon.
